Bungalow Bar was a brand of ice cream sold from ice cream trucks and mini markets to consumers on the streets in the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx, as well as Washington Heights in Manhattan, in Yonkers Westchester County, Nassau County and in Deer Park (Suffolk County) during the 1950s and 1960s and early 1970's.

The seller tells us that there is no engine nor transmission, and that the floors are rusty, but it does have the chiller doors and opines that it is indeed worth restoring.

Bungalow Bar was Good Humors main competition. Very few of these were built. The outside has been restored. The chassis and engine appear original. Engine runs good. Truck drives and stops. Gas tank has been disconnected due to old gas and a small temporary tank under the hood allows it to be lot driven. Box does not cool but compressor runs.
